On October 17th, 2026, Valleywise Health Foundation welcomed community leaders, philanthropic partners, healthcare advocates, and supporters for A Night in the Valley, an elegant evening dedicated to advancing our mission to provide exceptional care, without exception, every patient, every time.
Held at Creighton University Health Sciences, A Night in the Valley was a glamorous night under the stars filled with live jazz music, exquisite dining, artfully crafted cocktails, and speakeasy flair.

Honoring Visionary Leadership
The 2026 event celebrated the transformative leadership and enduring legacy of Chief Executive Officer, Steve Purves, who retired in October with 13 years leading Valleywise Health and 45 years in healthcare administration. Steve’s vision and commitment have shaped a stronger, more innovative Valleywise Health system.
The evening also marked an exciting new chapter as Valleywise Health formally welcomed our new President and CEO, Michael White, MD, whose leadership will help guide the organization into the future.
