Caroline Michiels

COO – Aphora Health

Caroline is a member of the executive leadership team at Aphora Health, an organization offering services and solutions to reduce spend on specialty and traditional pharmaceuticals. In her role, she leads company-wide operations, driving execution, scalability, and alignment of strategic priorities, while fostering collaboration, accountability, and growth. Her leadership experience spans industries, business functions, and organizations ranging from start-up to global, with assignments in the US and abroad. She is passionate about expanding access to high-quality, affordable healthcare.

Before joining Aphora, Caroline was Vice President of Integration and Operational Excellence at National Cardiovascular Partners (NCP), where she led cross-functional initiatives supporting the company’s Ambulatory Surgery Center strategy and partnerships. Previously, she held senior roles at Cancer Treatment Centers of America (now City of Hope), where she led transformation efforts in clinical healthcare IT. Her background also includes leadership roles at ThoughtWorks, DHL Express, PrimeSource Technologies, and Ernst & Young.

Caroline holds a bachelor’s degree in Management Information Systems from Old Dominion University. She received her MBA from Thunderbird, School of Global Management. She holds certifications as a Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives (FACHE), Lifecycles Capacity Consultant (LCC), Project Management Professional (PMP), and is a Certified Technology Business Management Executive (CTBME).
