
Lisa Hartstock
Interim Chief Executive Officer
Lisa Hartsock is a senior level executive with more than four decades of experience in philanthropy, board management, program development, and policy advocacy. She currently serves as Interim Chief Executive Officer at Valleywise Health Foundation and as the Foundation Relations Executive for Valleywise Health, Arizona’s only public teaching health system.
Lisa holds a Master of Public Health (MPH) degree and is a Certified Fund Raising Executive (CFRE). She is an active member of the Association for Healthcare Philanthropy and the International Women’s Forum, Arizona Chapter. Throughout her career, she has launched successful capital campaigns, secured major philanthropic investments, developed planned giving programs, and co-authored peer-reviewed articles and industry publications.
Her previous roles include leading national projects through the W.K. Kellogg Foundation’s Community Voices program and the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation’s Active Living Every Day initiative. She also served in a leadership position at the Ronald Reagan Presidential Foundation during the centennial celebration of the 40th President and a complete transformation of the museum.
Lisa and her husband Jerry, a retired Army Special Forces Chief Warrant Officer, moved to Arizona in 2012. They enjoy spending time with their daughter Kasey and son-in-law Eric. Lisa is also a trained Myers-Briggs facilitator who brings a people-first approach to her leadership.
