Derek Stapinski brings a passion for relationship-building and a unique background in sports marketing, events, and corporate partnerships to his role as Director of Corporate Relations at Valleywise Health Foundation. He leads efforts to connect businesses with meaningful opportunities to support Valleywise Health’s mission, creating partnerships that benefit patients, providers, and the broader community.

A proud Ohio native, Derek spent the early part of his career working with the Cleveland Indians and Lake Erie Crushers before moving to Arizona, where he took on roles with organizations like Salt River Fields, Barrett-Jackson, and the Phoenix Convention Center. In addition to his professional work, he’s been actively involved in leadership and service through the Boys and Girls Club, Suns Charities 88, and Valley Leadership.

Derek earned his degree in Sport Marketing from Bowling Green State University. He’s a devoted sports fan who has visited 22 MLB stadiums (and counting), and he enjoys concerts, podcasts, and time with his wife, two kids, and two dogs.
