Jennifer Purcell brings more than two decades of experience in philanthropy, marketing, and community relations to her role as Major Gifts Officer at Valleywise Health Foundation. She is dedicated to building authentic relationships with the philanthropic community and creating meaningful partnerships that expand access to compassionate healthcare for all.

Before joining Valleywise Health Foundation, Jennifer served as Chief Impact Officer for AZ Impact for Good, leading statewide initiatives that strengthened Arizona’s nonprofit and philanthropic sector. Her career also includes leadership roles at BMO Bank, where she managed corporate giving, community engagement, and marketing programs. A fourth-generation graduate of Central College in Pella, Iowa, she also holds a certificate in Nonprofit Executive Leadership from ASU’s Lodestar Center’s Nonprofit Management Institute and is a proud alumna of Valley Leadership Class 36.

Originally from rural Iowa, Jennifer has called Arizona home since 1999. She is an active member of the Association of Fundraising Professionals Greater Arizona Chapter and a lifelong advocate for giving back to the community. Outside of work, she enjoys hiking, gardening, traveling, and spending time with her husband, Justin, and their border collie, Maggie.
